Some stories you just can’t make up! We just got this report from Jason Corsini of Quiet Waters Boatworks:
“I just wanted to let you know you designed a fish-raiser! We went out trolling last Saturday. Beautiful, warm day. We started at Thomas Point, worked our way East & South past Bloody Pt. We caught this 40” rockfish on a chartreuse umbrella rig while trolling with four lines behind the boat….. And we caught her from your Hill 16 at “The Hill.” I’m not kidding. We didn’t plan it that way, but that’s what happened.”
That’s right. The first rockfish landed by the new Hill 16 was caught at The Hill, one of the Middle Chesapeake Bay’s famous hot spots and this design’s namesake.
Good stuff, Jason. Good luck at next week’s Boat Yard Bar and Grill’s Rockfish Tournament.
